Columbia, SC – Children’s literacy advocate, author and illustrator Frances Jones is making an imprint on the community by way of celebrating our youth and literacy. Through inspiring literacy talks and her colorful character Cricket Curls, she continues to encourage young people to enjoy reading as a form of entertainment and not a chore.
The mission of her company Look Mommy! Publishing LLC is to motivate children to become life-long readers by way of creating children’s literature with inspiring storylines and colorful illustrations that nurtures literacy development. Frances strives to motivate children in the community to embrace and enjoy reading and to love who they are becoming while accepting differences and unique characteristics in others.
