4th Annual Finding HOPE in the Struggle Conference 2018

EmPOWERed Connections local nonprofit organization is slated to host its 4th Annual Finding HOPE in the Struggle Conference 2018 on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at EdVenture Children’s Museum in Columbia, SC. This year’s theme is  “Stepping Up Your Game by Finding HOPE Through Knowledge, Resources, and Support”. The PURPOSE of this conference is to introduce concepts, resources, strategies and services that will support and improve a families’ ability to have success and achieve true family independence. Utilizing  dynamic and informative speakers, workshop leaders, and even theatrical expression we will tackle several social issues that women AND men face on a daily basis. The ultimate purpose is to remind us all that even in the STRUGGLES of life there is always HOPE!

This conference is for persons whose income meet standards for poverty according to the United States Census; These families could qualify for SNAP, TANF, MEDICAID or Families whose children qualify for Free or Reduced lunch in school AS WELL as those UNemployed or UNDERemployed persons.

Admission is $20 ***Sponsored admission for those who receive FI (Family Independence from the State of SC***

6 Areas of focus: Leadership, Physical/Mental Wellness, Entrepreneurship, Credit, Relationships and Personal Development.
