(Carson, CA) A powerful new audio book examines the direct impact of the African-American Clergy on the African-American community as a whole.
“50 Questions For The Black Preacher,” is a challenge from the author, Brother Alim Hagan, to the clergy to answer all 50 questions, which range from theology, history, health, politics and economics.
“The black preacher has over two hundred years to preach his word in America and no one has ever challenged him, until now,” Hagan said.
He has a hard task. According to Black Entertainment Television News, Reverend Michael J.T. Fisher, the pastor of the Greater Zion Church Family of Compton, California said that ministers of the recent Oxygen Channel series, “Preachers of L.A.,” had broken an unwritten rule by showing their personal issues in front of a national audience.
“There is an unwritten code that we deal with our issues privately so that we can be strong publicly,” Reverend Fisher said, with BET.com.
Brother Alim Hagan is up for the task, having spent 23 years as a Life and Health Coach and motivational speaker. “There has never been a comprehensive study on the life and the effects of the black preacher and his ministry like this,” he said.
