Carolina Caribbean Culture Festival 2016

Columbia, South Carolina – HIBISCUS ENTERTAINMENT is set to present CAROLINA’S CARIBBEAN CULTURE FESTIVAL (CCCF 2016). This year the Festival is being held Thursday, June 2th – Sunday, June 5th so the CAROLINA CARNIVAL will take place in various venues throughout Columbia, SC.

HIBISCUS ENTERTAINMENT invites the Public out to enjoy Caribbean Culture at it’s finest for CCCF 2016. Come experience CAROLINA’S CARIBBEAN CULTURE FESTIVAL and witness the festivities, as Masqueraders prance in costumes during the Carnival Parade. CCCF2016 will feature sounds by Internationally renown music mixer, DJ Stephen & G Sounds out of Charlotte, North Carolina; as well as, Live Entertainment by various Caribbean Artists, including St. Lucia’s, Teddyson John, coming off of his huge Carnival 2016 hit, ALLEZ, along with Jamaica’s own, Chem, and various local & International Artists.

June is CARIBBEAN-AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH and HIBISCUS ENTERTAINMENT will celebrate it over 4 days, with 5 fabulous events, This year’s activities begin on Thursday, June 2nd, with a CAROLINA “LYME” PARTY at Sensations, 110 Two Notch Rd., Columba, SC 10:00pm/$10, where you can enjoy CCCF’s cast of DJ’s and eat some good Caribbean Cuisine. Then on Friday, the 3rd, there will be a J’OUVERT COOLER FETE at 1135 Old Garner’s Ferry Rd., Hopkins, SC 12:00am.-5:00am./$20 in advance, and no glass bottles or ice in coolers, please. On Saturday, the 4th, at Garner’s Ferry Sports Complex, 8620 Garner’s Ferry Rd., Hopkins, SC., 12:00pm-10:00pm., there will be Masqueraders at the PARADE AND CARNIVAL VILLAGE, and a celebration for the entire family, with a KID ZONE, featuring slides, a bounce house & face painting. Parade starts at 1:00pm, on the corner of Trotter Rd. & Garner’s Ferry Rd, moving into the CARNIVAL VILLAGE. $5/-13 years; $15/+13 b4 6:00pm and $20 after 6:00pm. On Saturday night at 6:00pm, the, I AM SOCA, concert/party features Caribbean Artists like, Teddyson John; Chem and other local/International Artists & DJ’s displaying their talents. Finally, the Cool Down on Sunday brings CCCF2016 to a close with “PUNCH’D” an All-White Soirée, at the Rooftop Parking Garage, 3400 Forest Dr., Columbia, SC, from 11:00am-5:00pm $35. Caribbean Culture and Cuisine will be available to be enjoyed by people of all ages, so don’t miss out on all the fun, June 2nd -5th, 2016.
