Columbia, SC Mayor Steve Benjamin once considered as a possible running mate for Clinton

WikiLeaks hacked e-mail shows the Columbia, SC Mayor Steve Benjamin was among several other high profile African-American politicians leaders who were on Hillary Clinton’s short list for vice president.

Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, and former Attorney General Eric Holder were some of the other prominent African-Americans whose names appeared on the list.

In total the hacked emails revealed a total of 39 names on what is being called Clinton’s ‘First Cut’ VP List.
