A melodious evening in a cozy and unique setting, sponsored by the nonprofit organization Distinguished Diamonds, This event will create a platform for community awareness and make a bold statement against negative mindsets. Empowering voices echoing harmony in an embracing environment the focus will be on promoting wellness in its entirety, from mind, body and the infinite soul. A segment of the program will also be dedicated to addressing Kidney Disease in our community and promote Breast Cancer Awareness. We will be honoring the Campaign Learning, Living and giving a Kidney for Jim Hardy of On Point Media. (Jim Hardy is a Kidney transplant Candidate leading a Kidney Disease Campaign in the community, while awaiting a kidney transplant for himself). We will also be honoring Maxine Scott (The Pink Real Estate Lady), a breast cancer survivor of 5 years. Maxine is an active member of the US Army, a member of the National Kidney Foundation team SC, a successful realtor and a breast cancer survivor and spokeswoman.

The event will be held at the South Carolina Education Association Building 421 Zimalcrest Dr, Columbia, SC on February 10th, 2017 and is set to begin promptly at 8pm. It will also feature homegrown artists and musicians, and will promote culture through Caribbean Cuisine and other forms of art. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the campaign Learning, Living and Giving a kidney for Jim Hardy. (Tickets are available on Eventbrite under Sunshyne P and the Melodius tribe).

Distinguished Diamonds is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization providing services which deal with matters of the heart in the Midlands. Our organization provides services for women, children, and men to include group therapy sessions, a spiritual retreat, and organized Cardiovascular health screenings, clothing and essentials drives and more..
