Gipson Gets It…

First-time candidate Byron Gipson was elected as the next prosecutor for Richland and Kershaw Counties. Gipson grabbed 70% of the vote to Meadors 30%.

Gipson 46, is a Columbia trial lawyer with the firm of Johnson, Toal & Battiste. Gipson easily defeated petition candidate John Meadors, who is also a local criminal defense attorney and former Assistant Solicitor for the Fifth Judicial Circuit.

The Fifth Judicial Circuit serves Richland and Kershaw Counties.
