In 2003, Tracy graduated from Richland School District Two’s Spring Valley High School. While there, she became the first African American female student body president. She went on to be accepted to Stanford University in California where she majored in American Studies. Oliver graduated from Stanford in 2008 and continued her studies with the Peter Stark Producing Program at the University of Southern California. She graduated in 2010 and started working right away on a number of screenwriting projects.
“This is a significant issue of public health,” Mayor Steve Benjamin said Tuesday, as he urged residents to take precautions to protect themselves from mosquito bites and to eliminate areas of standing water where mosquitoes might breed. While people shouldn’t panic, he said, they should be vigilant.
