Midlands Inventor Association MeetupTuesday, July 22nd starting at 7:00pm at USC Technology Incubator on the 4th floor, 1225 Laurel Street Columbia, SC 29201.  As an inventor, you’re used to the independence and self-discipline it takes to implement your ideas, but you don’t have to go at it alone! By joining the Midlands Inventor Association, you can meet with other inventors and like-minded people to discuss your ideas, work through the ups and downs of the inventive process, or just hang out. Along with meeting a community of fellow creators.

Speed NetworkingSponsored by the South Carolina Small Business Chamber of Commerce. Tuesday, July 22nd from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Bubble Tea Café 1260 Bower Pkwy Suite A6, Columbia, South Carolina 29212. Join SBCC for a speed networking event, meet with local business owners and learn how to use social media to build and grow connections. Each business owner will have 2-3 minutes to introduce their business to someone before moving on to meet someone else. This is a great way to make a lot of contacts quickly. Enjoy networking with other members and guests along with light hor d’oeuvres provided by the Bubble Tea Café. Members: FREE, Non-members: $10, Registration includes light refreshments.


Strictly Business, Networking EventThursday, July 24th from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at EdVenture Children’s Museum, 211 Gervais St, Columbia, South Carolina 29201. A networking business event open to all. for a fun time, great food, and free drinks! We’ll have door prizes and music! It’s a great event for those of you who are established members of the community, as well as those who are new to the area looking to make connections!  Admission is free.
