Midlands Health & Wellness Expo – Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 9 AM – 3 PM at Jamil Temple, 206 Jamil Rd, Columbia, South Carolina. Absolute Total Care presents the Midlands Health & Wellness Expo on September 23rd from 9:00-3:00 pm at the Jamil Temple in Columbia. “I Won’t Starve” Entrepreneur Development Workshop – Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 9 AM – 2 PM at Jewish Community Center, 306 Flora Drive, Columbia, SC. Fundamental training for developing Entrepreneurs working toward being full time business owners. Business owner Jamar Washington’s personal mantra “I Won’t Starve” is a motivator for current and aspiring entrepreneurs who are building their business. He mentors startup business owners the keys to success in business by encouraging them that they will not starve if you step out on faith, work your business and focus on growth.

Canal History Tour – Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 4pm located at Riverfront Park’s south end, 312 Laurel St., Columbia, SC.  Join the rangers for a guided tour along the historic Columbia Canal and learn how it played a part in Columbia’s growth for almost 200 years. We’ll discuss the original canal, Columbia’s Waterworks, the earliest hydropower plants, and the SC State Penitentiary (CCI). Meet at the Red Schoolhouse at Riverfront Park’s south end, 312 Laurel St. Guests are encouraged to dress comfortably, bring binoculars and field guides as well as any essentials like water, sunscreen, insect repellent and sturdy walking footwear. Cricket Curls Adventures Presents Read-A-Palooza – Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 12 PM – 2 PM at EdVenture Children’s Museum, 211 Gervais St, Columbia, South Carolina 29201. Read-A-Palooza is a signature event of Cricket Curls Adventures that aims and aspires to reach children throughout our community to share the importance of reading literacy and become a children’s book resource for those living in book deserts. Our main goal for hosting this event is to continue exposing Cricket Curls Adventures to our community as well as to inspire and motivate children to become life-long readers!

Your presence to attend this event will help Cricket Curls Adventures share its mission along with the importance of reading literacy within our state. Mark your calendars and get ready to have a blast while celebrating literacy and a few Curly Kids too!
