39th Annual Veterans Day Parade – Friday, November 10, 2017 from 11 AM – 1 PM located on Sumter St, Columbia, SC 29201. The City of Columbia will be celebrating Veterans Day with the 39th Annual Veterans Day Parade on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. The parade will begin at the corner of Sumter and Laurel streets and end at the corner of Sumter and Gervais streets. Regarded as one of the best Veterans Day parades in the Southeast, the 39th Annual Veterans Day Parade in the City of Columbia is something you don’t want to miss!

Community Baby Shower – Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm at AC Jackson Wellness Center, 2508 Atlas Rd., Columbia, SCIf you are currently Pregnant, Come Celebrate the Arrival of your baby at a Community Baby shower hosted by Nurse Family Partnership, WellCare and the JRJ Women’s center. We will have food, games and giveaways . There will also be a special gift for any first time pregnant moms. And There will be community area organizations who will be at the event to help you find any community resources you may need for you and your baby.

Columbia Rocks for Puerto Rico – Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 2 PM – 9 PM at Music Farm Columbia,  1022 Senate St, Columbia, South Carolina 29201. Come out to the Music Farm for a day of music, silent auctions, and giving! All proceeds go to One America Appeal to help Puerto Rico recover from the devastating Hurricane Maria.

Live music starts at three, and we have a line up of FANTASTIC musicians, including Raising ApolloJeremy’s Ten: A Pearl Jam Tribute, and Eddie Bush! More acts to be announced! The silent auction will include items from local businesses, as well as some super special items we are working on!  Tickets are $15, and this will be an all ages show.
