Free Document Shredding Day – Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 9 AM – 5 PM at Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union (2651 Clemson Rd., Columbia, SC). We’re offering free personal document shredding at our Clemson Rd. office from 9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm (NO SHREDDING BETWEEN 12-2).* Limit 3 bags/boxes/bins of materials per vehicle.
Open any new account on this day at this office and you will get to spin our prize wheel to win cash prizes up to $100! All information will be shredded on-site by Shred 360. No plastic, glass or other non-paper trash are allowed. You will be asked to take any of your boxes and/or bags back with you. Shred 360 and Palmetto Citizens are not responsible for information abandoned or left unattended by consumers.

 All materials presented to Shred 360 will be recycled to assure total and permanent destruction of all materials as well as to provide a benefit to the environment. Visit for more information.


Evening with Educators – Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm at Columbia Museum of Art, 1515 Main St., Columbia, SC. Educators from across the state are invited to join the CMA for an evening of art, wine, and nibbles as they enjoy a lecture on Matisse and prints with USC printmaking instructor Frol Boundin. Explore the Henri Matisse: Jazz & Poetry on Paper exhibition and make connections through hands-on studio lesson plans. Attendees will also receive documentation for professional development renewal credit. Sponsored by Colonial Life.

EdVenture’s Ladies Night Out – Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm at EdVenture Children’s Museum, 211 Gervais St., Columbia, SC. Gather your girlfriends and reserve your tickets for a Ladies’ Night Out! The runway is heating up with designer fashions. Women and men will model a sizzling summer collection of Columbia’s finest attire. Enjoy a live auction, music, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and fashion. Sip a margarita while you shop at some of Columbia’s best! VIP Lounge opens at 6:30pm, General Admission at 7pm Ladies’ Night Out is presented by PURA. ​ ​
