“We are excited to bring the Creative Culture Art Expo to Columbia as an artistic expression of every part of the fashion industry. Our goal is to be the ultimate place for artists to explore the world of photography, videography, modeling, acting and general creativity using teaching and training from true professionals in the respective fields,” said Rashawn Merrick, creator, The Creative Culture Brand. “The expo is an opportunity for professionals and students to learn, engage, and elevate their careers as they build their portfolios. Columbia has a vibrant art scene! We hope to stimulate the gifts of those creatives, ignite a passion to pursue those gifts, utilize our resources, and tap into our local talent together.”

This event is open to the public but directed to industry professionals and students who wish to network with like-minded individuals. Attendees are encouraged to bring their camera/camera flash for the mass photoshoot. The photoshoot will have several stations with different backgrounds, props, models, and looks. All photos taken may be used to create or enhance portfolios.
