(Columbia, SC) – The highly anticipated 5th Annual Preview Jamboree returns Saturday, November 15 at Gray Collegiate Academy, 3833 Leaphart Rd, West Columbia, SC 29169 and features 26 teams (16 boys’ teams and 10 girls’ teams), for 13 thrilling matchups in a full day of high school basketball action beginning at 12:00 NOON. Fans may expect an unforgettable showcase of rising talent, community pride, and the unifying power of sports. General Admission is $20.00 and grants all-day access. VIP Admission is $30.00 and includes assigned floor seating, a bottle of water, and snack bag.
The Preview Jamborees is a preseason platform for student-athletes to display their talent, build momentum, and compete in front of energized crowds. Hosted by Sade James-Bethea, founder of SJB Event Management and a driving force behind some of the Midlands’ most impactful events, the Preview Jamboree has grown into a signature celebration of youth athletics and team excellence.
“Now in our fifth year, we are extremely appreciative for the support the Preview Jamboree has received from student-athletes, attendees and parents alike,” said Sade James-Bethea, founder and organizer. “This event sets the tone for the entire season. With attendees from all over the South, each year continues to grow beyond expectation. We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy some exciting raw talent.”
Held at Gray Collegiate Academy, a school known for its championship culture and commitment to student-athlete development, the event offers a high-energy environment for teams to test their chemistry and sharpen their edge before official play begins.
“The Preview Jamboree is one of the best events in the state for high school sports,” said Dion Bethea, head boys’ basketball coach, Gray Collegiate Academy. “This event allows our athletes a chance to compete, connect, and represent their schools with pride. We are honored our gym will be location for this year’s festivities.”
Brandon Wallace, who coaches the A’ja Wilson AAU 17U girls’ team and serves as the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Gray Collegiate Academy echoed the excitement. “The Preview Jamboree gives our girls a chance to compete early, build chemistry, and get a real sense of our competitiveness before the season starts,” said Wallace. “We also love the fact that families and fans have the opportunity to see the work these athletes have been putting in during the off-season. The energy is high, and the competition is real.”
