Album release show for Cole Connor’s SODA to be held at New Brookland Tavern December 1, 2016

COLUMBIA, SC – Nov 16, 2016 – Cole Connor’s SODA (Sometimes Our Dreams Align), released worldwide online on November 15, 2016, was recorded at the legendary Jam Room Recording Studio and has 10 tracks, with musical collaborations from folk-hop band ColorBlind, The Prairie Willows’ acclaimed fiddle player Kristen Harris, and hip-hop collective New Success Culture. To celebrate the release, Czar Records has put together an album release party for Thursday, December 1st at The New Brookland Tavern, featuring live performances by FatRat Da Czar, Grand Royal, and newcomer to the Columbia scene Dynamic.

Scene leader and mentor FatRat Da Czar says, “SODA reminds me a lot of Da Cold War with respect to Cole’s determination to make his mark in the city. I pushed him hard this go round–not only to get his best, but also because I feel he can put Columbia on the map nationally. Cole takes pride in the foundation I’ve laid and wants to be responsible for adding to it.”

The album release party will be hosted by Columbia hip-hop leader Preach Jacobs, who understands the importance of getting behind the next generation of musicians. “Czar told me about the hard work Cole was putting in,” Preach says, “and the evidence is this amazing project.”

The New Brookland Tavern is located at 122 State St, West Columbia, SC. Doors open at 8pm and showtime is 9pm. Entry is $8.
