Ambulance company offers 8-week EMT course for free in Columbia

(Columbia, SC) – Starting February 15, those interested in becoming EMT’s will have the opportunity to do so for free in Columbia.

Medshore Ambulance is providing an accelerated, 8-week EMT basic class and will cover the costs of tuition, certification and testing for 12 applicants who are selected for the program.

The company plans to offer this course again on a regular schedule in the future. Applicants not accepted into this program will have the opportunity to put their application forward for future classes.

This course is offered with a two-year employment commitment. Qualified applicants will be required to take an aptitude test provided by MTC. Once that is completed hiring managers will follow up to schedule an interview.

Applications must be submitted by February 1.
