Back-to-School Book Sale Scheduled for One Day Only!

Columbia, SC- As the summer starts to wind down, the Richland Library Friends and Foundation wants to help children, teens and adults gather essentials for the start of a new academic year. The organization is hosting a Back-to-School Book Sale from 2 – 4:30 p.m., Sunday, August 25 at the Richland Library Operations Center (130 Lancewood Road). It’s a chance to get your hands on some great deals and rare finds while adding to your book, music and movie collections. There are more than 30,000 gently-used items to choose from, available in all genres. Prices for paperbacks start at $1, and prices for hardbacks start at $2. 
The Richland Library Friends and Foundation hosts four books sales a year – winter, spring, summer and fall. Combined, these events raise more than $60,000 a year to support the library.
