Honoring torchbearers, emerging leaders, and pillars of our community, the Gala sets the tone for what this weekend represents: legacy in motion.
Curated by visionary leader Jeffrey Lampkin, Black Legacy Weekend is a multi-day cultural experience that fuses faith, economic empowerment, unity, and celebration. From the “We Outside: Black Men Rising Rally” at the South Carolina State House commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Million Man March, to JoyFest at Colonial Life Arena bringing thousands together in praise and cultural celebration, this weekend stands as a powerful close to Black History Month in Columbia.
