Book Chicks Author Expo 2026 Brings Authors From Detroit to Dallas to Columbia, South Carolina

Free Community Event Celebrates Authors, Entrepreneurship, Literacy, and Storytelling

Columbia, SC — Readers, writers, aspiring authors, entrepreneurs, and book lovers are invited to attend the Book Chicks Author Expo 2026 on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Venue 817, 817 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, South Carolina.

Hosted by Journey Towards Purpose Global Institute, the Book Chicks Author Expo is a dynamic literary and entrepreneurship event designed to connect readers with authors while equipping aspiring writers with the tools needed to transform their stories into brands and businesses.

The expo will feature more than 30 authors representing multiple genres, including fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, self-help, health and wellness, cookbooks, and inspirational literature. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet authors, purchase signed books, attend educational seminars, and gain valuable insight into the publishing industry.

This year’s event will showcase talented female authors from across the country, with participants traveling from locations ranging from Detroit to Dallas, while also highlighting outstanding local and regional authors from South Carolina and the Southeast.
