Brella Counseling Services LLC Presents the First Annual Alopecia Awareness Event

Bringing Alopecia Awareness to Columbia and surrounding areas.

Columbia, SC – Brella Counseling Services LLC is pleased to announce the 1st Annual Alopecia Awareness Event. This event will take place on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 11am-3pm at EdVenture Children Museum located at 211 Gervais Street, Columbia, SC 29201.

This event will be the first of its kind in Columbia and surrounding areas. The goal of this event is to let those with the various forms of Alopecia, their families and supporters know that they are not alone.  The format for the Alopecia Awareness event will focus on providing educational and motivational resources as well as demonstrating different ways to love oneself.

According to The National Alopecia Areata Foundation, “approximately 6.8 million people in the United States and 147 million worldwide have or will develop alopecia areata at some point in their lives.”(2018)

The 1st Annual Alopecia Awareness event is going to be the stepping stone into programs and forums focusing on the topic to better the lives of individuals that feel they have nowhere to go and no one to talk to. We are asking the public to please come out and support this amazing cause!
