Brookland Baptist Church Hosts Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic

(West Columbia, SC) – In response to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, Lexington Medical Center is making changes to its COVID-19 vaccine and testing sites.

The vaccine clinic will move to Brookland Baptist Church, located at 1066 Sunset Boulevard in West Columbia. The vaccine clinic hours will be Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome. Visit for details.

Lexington Medical Center’s drive-thru COVID-19 testing site will remain at 139 Summerplace Drive in West Columbia. Effective Tuesday, September 7, its hours will be Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Appointments are required for testing. The COVID-19 vaccine clinic and drive-thru testing site will be closed on Monday, September 6 for the Labor Day holiday.

Lexington Medical Center encourages all eligible individuals to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine is safe and effective. To date, Lexington Medical Center has administered nearly 100,000 COVID-19 vaccines in our community.
