College Preparation & ACT Testing Day

Columbia, SC – The 18th Annual South Carolina Day of College Preparation will take place at the University of South Carolina’s Booker T. Washington Auditorium on March 11, 2017 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. This event will consist of a free ACT practice test for students and a college admissions workshop for parents. In addition, there will be a Score Back Session where a Princeton Review expert will help participants interpret their score report results and teach them score-raising strategies.

The media is invited to cover this event to bring awareness to the efforts being made to make sure that students, especially minorities who oftentimes can’t afford practice testing services, are adequately prepared to compete for acceptance.

This event is a collaboration of efforts by the Columbia Branch NAACP/Youth Council, University of South Carolina, The Princeton Review and DESA, Inc.
