Columbia Metropolitan Airport to Host Global Entry Enrollment Event

Columbia Metropolitan Airport is partnering with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to host a three-day Global Entry Enrollment Event from August 25–27.

The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day in the Carolina Room on the lower level of the airport. It will give conditionally approved applicants from across the Midlands a convenient local opportunity to complete the required in-person interview for Global Entry.

Global Entry provides expedited clearance for preapproved, low-risk travelers arriving in the United States from international destinations. Membership also includes TSA PreCheck benefits for eligible travelers.

Residents interested in attending must first submit a Global Entry application and receive conditional approval. Once approved, applicants can schedule an interview through their account on the Trusted Traveler Programs website.

Appointments may be limited, so eligible applicants are encouraged to schedule as soon as possible.
