(Columbia, SC) — The City of Columbia Police Department will host its 2026 Faith & Blue Citywide Community Event on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Grace Christian Church, 5010 Monticello Road.
The free event will bring residents, law enforcement officers, city and faith leaders, and community organizations together for an afternoon of fellowship and family activities. It is designed to strengthen relationships and create opportunities for conversation and connection outside of everyday interactions with law enforcement.
Attendees can enjoy free food, a Kids Zone and a chili cook-off featuring community participants. A Touch-a-Truck experience will give children and families an up-close look at public safety and community service vehicles.
Community resource tables will offer information about local programs, services and organizations. Residents will also have opportunities to meet officers, faith leaders and community partners working in Columbia neighborhoods.
The event will conclude with local ministry leaders joining in prayer for the city, its residents, families, neighborhoods and those who serve the community.
Admission is free and open to the public. Residents are encouraged to bring their families and invite friends and neighbors.
