(Columbia, SC) — The vibrant rhythms of soulful house music are returning to the steps of the South Carolina State House for the 6th Annual House Music at the State House – Back2School Drive, presented by the Columbia House Music Project and its founder, award-winning DJ Kelly Kel.
This year’s highlight? A special live performance by New Jersey’s legendary Grammy-nominated gospel house music icon, Kenny Bobien, making his debut appearance in Columbia. Known globally for his electrifying voice and uplifting music, Bobien brings his signature sound to South Carolina for the first time ever.
This multi-day celebration of music, dance, culture, and community takes place August 22nd–24th, with a series of events that invite all ages and backgrounds to experience the soul of house music:

This is the main event. Bring your lawn chairs, tents, tambourines, maracas, cowbells, and most importantly—a back-to-school item for local children.
