Congressman Clyburn to Host Listening Session Town Hall in North Charleston

(North Charleston, SC) — Today, Thursday, May 29 at 7:00 PM, Congressman James E. Clyburn will host a Listening Session Town Hall in partnership with the National Racial Justice Network. The event will take place at the Royal Baptist Family Life and Banquet Center, located at 4750 Abraham Avenue in North Charleston, South Carolina.

This public forum will provide residents with the opportunity to engage directly with Congressman Clyburn on a number of pressing national and local issues. Topics for discussion include:

  • Social Security and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
  • Medicare and Medicaid
  • SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
  • Project 2025 and its potential impacts on federal programs
