Crafty Feast Kicks Off Holiday Shopping Season with One-Stop Market of Handmade Goods

(COLUMBIA, S.C.) – Crafty Feast — the largest independent local craft fair in the Midlands and a popular holiday shopping pastime — will kick off its’ tenth annual shopping market on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 12 to 6 p.m. Featuring nearly 100 artisans of handmade and repurposed goods from across the Southeast, the event will take place at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. Admission is $3; free for kids 10 & under. 
Guests will shop for delightful, hand-crafted goods while sipping mimosas, apple cider, craft beer and wine; snacking on cookies, popcorn and other finger foods and enjoying the creative, festive ambiance.  
Shoppers will be able to take a break and participate in DIY crafts hosted by 701 Center for Contemporary Art and Cola Makerspace. Guests can also look forward to taking a turn on pinball machines, courtesy of Firefly Games and Toys.
With gifts in hand and holiday spirits high, shoppers will enjoy a playlist by DJ Dr. P (Rockefellas-era music expert Scott Padgett). 
Meet the Vendors
Crafty Feast jurors hand-picked close to 100 vendors for its annual holiday fair, judging them on a 10-point scale for entry.
Of the makers, 27 are new to Crafty Feast for the 2018 event, 75 are from outside of Columbia, and 29 are from outside of South Carolina – traveling from Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Florida.
Unique to Crafty Feast, all vendors hand-make items or artistically repurpose goods for sale. No re-sellers are allowed at Crafty Feast.
