(Columbia, SC) – Legendary basketball coach, Dawn Staley, has a surprising hobby – she’s a true crime junky. Coach Staley brings her true crime obsession to the stage as she hosts a conversation with Dick Harpootlian at the launch event for his book, Dig Me a Grave: The Inside Story of the Serial Killer who Seduced the South, that recounts his prosecution of Donald “Pee Wee” Gaskins that finally brought the charismatic con man to justice.
On December 16, at 701 Whaley Street in Columbia, South Carolina, the two will dive into the book that features his personal evolution in the search for justice and a life lived inside the legal arena. Harpootlian’s access to transcripts, tapes, and other evidence from Gaskins’ many murders make his account authentic without need for embellishment or speculation.
