(Columbia, SC) – Richland Library is excited to welcome our Spring Artist-in-Residence Dogon Krigga and their new art exhibit, Time & Time Again – Exploring The Antique Blacks: A Rootworker’s Tarot to the Gallery at Richland Libray Main (1431 Assembly Street).

Krigga’s exhibit will run from January 20 – March 8. Time & Time Again is a visual record of the Spiritual Ethno-Botany of Black Americans presented in collage form.

An opening reception will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, January 20.

Krigga is set to host weekly office hours from 5 – 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and most Saturdays at our Main location to answer questions while sharing their knowledge and experience with others.

They are planning artist panel discussions, graphic design/collage-making programs in the gallery, and working with location staff to provide Open Studio time in library Makerspaces around the system.

Krigga’s residency will run from January 9 – June 16.
