ABOUT THE ACTOR’S BREAKTHROUGH WEEKEND

WOW Productions began their relationship with the Emmy Award winner in 2013 while preparing for their breakout hit stage play “Confessions of A Good Man”, when he came for a private workshop with WOW’s cast. Then in early 2014 Williams returned and they presented a one-day workshop for the public titled Acting Keys, where Williams shared his secrets to success in theatre, screen and TV.  Those who attended the workshop left raving about Williams’ exhaustive knowledge and one-on-one coaching style, but they desired more and after seeing the goldmine of talent in the area so did Williams. Excited about his partnership, Williams has put together an amazing workshop program to take place over the course of two days in Columbia.

During the Actor’s Breakthrough Weekend, Williams will teach two full-day workshops. The Acting for the Camera: Series TV and Feature Film workshop takes place on November 1st and is for beginning actors or early professionals interested in working in film, television and theatre.  The actors can have little to no acting experience, but want to learn the fundamentals of working on film and television sets or on a live stage. The advanced workshop on the evenings of October 31st and November 1st, Mastery Institute for Film & Television, is for actors on or near the master level.  Master level actors would have an extensive theatre background, some film and television work. Williams will be zeroing in on audition mastery, what it takes to win roles in series television and feature film, the business of the business and more! In order to take part in the Mastery Institute all participants must submit a video audition of a one-minute monologue; audition links must be submitted to [email protected].
