Fairfield County Seeks Community Input for 2022 Comprehensive Plan Update

1 min read

(Winnsboro, SC) — Fairfield County is working alongside the Central Midlands Council of Government to update the County’s Comprehensive Plan. The County invites citizens to participate in a Community Survey. Residents have until March 10, 2022, to complete the survey, which can be found on the County’s website (www.fairfieldsc.gov) and social media.

“Citizens are giving us input as to what they would like to see in Fairfield County. They are really key in determining our future when it comes to economic development and community services,” says Shirley M. Greene, Vice Chairman of Fairfield County Council.

The Comprehensive Plan guides the future actions of the community by outlining clear goals related to public health, safety, efficiency, and economic development. Community input not only helps Fairfield County develop the plan, it provides residents with the power to help shape their County’s future.
