(Columbia, SC) – Richland Library is teaming up with The Blood Connection to host a community blood drive on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Richland Library Main (1431 Assembly St., Columbia, SC). Just one donation can save multiple lives, and local patients are counting on the generosity of donors. The process is quick, safe and rewarding, and every pint of blood collected directly supports hospitals in our community. As a thank-you, each donor will receive $70 in eGift cards.
Who can donate: Donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh over 110 lbs, and present a TBC Donor ID card or photo ID. (Parental consent is required for 16-year-olds). Participants are encouraged to eat a health meal and hydrate before donating.
Appointments are encouraged.
