Goodwill’s ELEVATE Drone Pilot Program Takes Flight Again:Next Round of Classes Set to Launch in February 2025

(Greenville, SC) Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina is excited to announce the next round of classes for its ELEVATE program, a comprehensive drone training program designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary for safe and proficient drone operations. This innovative program, in partnership with AINautics, aims to prepare aspiring drone pilots for the FAA 107 exam and beyond, and is free to participants.

ELEVATE introduces drone operating fundamentals, ensuring participants gain a strong technical foundation in piloting unmanned aerial vehicles. The program places a heavy emphasis on safety protocols, risk management, and adherence to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, preparing individuals for responsible and legal drone operation. Participants will receive hands-on training and in-depth instruction on flight dynamics, navigation, airspace classification, and emergency procedures. Additionally, they will benefit from expert guidance and personalized mentorship from seasoned drone pilots from AINautics, who bring extensive real-world experiences across various industries, including aerial surveying, infrastructure inspection, cinematography, and emergency response.
