(Greenville, SC) – On Wednesday, August 3, 2022, Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina (GIUMSC) and their Mission Mobile unit will host a hiring event in Irmo. The event will focus on hiring retail associates for Midlands-area stores. Management positions are eligible for a $1500 sign-on bonus.

Mission Mobile is an outreach of Goodwill’s 30+ Job Connection sites, which are adjoined to many of Goodwill’s retail stores. Just as a participant would receive job training tools, skills assessments, and more inside of the brick and mortar Goodwill Job Connections, the same career services are available within the 30-foot, newly wrapped, and fully loaded vehicle.

GIUMSC currently has full & part-time positions available with career advancement opportunities along with great benefits, paid holidays, health coverage, and a matching 401K program. Job seekers will meet with an employment specialist inside GIUMSC’s Mission Mobile unit to fill out an application and participate in an on-site interview.  Some participants may even walk away with a contingent offer in hand.

What: Goodwill Hiring Event

Where: 7138 Broad River Road, Irmo, SC 29063
