Jay Z has partnered with Jack Dorsey, former CEO of Twitter and current CEO of Square, to launch the Bitcoin Academy.

This new program will be held at the Marcy public housing complex in Brooklyn, New York, where Jay-Z grew up. Residents will have the opportunity to take free Bitcoin education classes.

Participants in the program will receive MiFi devices, one-year data plans, and smartphones if needed, according to the Bitcoin Academy website. The curriculum will include courses such as “What is Money?,” “What Is Cryptocurrency?,” “What is Blockchain?” and “How to Keep Yourself Safe from Scammers,”

This e-book is designed to help business owners understand the importance of branding by studying and applying the business savvy of business and entertainment mogul Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter.

The academy instructors are Lamar Wilson, founder of Black Bitcoin Billionaire, and Najah J. Roberts, founder of Crypto Blockchain Plug.

Even though Jay-Z and Dorsey seem like an unlikely pair, they came together in 2021 when Square bought a majority stake in Tidal. Together, they aim to prove how cryptocurrency can provide a decentralized, barrier-free financial future for all.

The cryptocurrency concept is particularly appealing to those who feel left out by the current financial system, and view it as a way for economic justice.
