(Columbia, SC) – In celebration of Kidz Kindness Day in Columbia, young kindness ambassador Jayme Hill will continue spreading her message of compassion, respect, and community with a special visit to the Lourie Center.
As part of the citywide celebration, Jayme will spend time with members at the Lourie Center, a not-for-profit recreation center serving adults ages 50 and up, participating in arts and crafts activities designed to bring generations together through creativity, conversation, and shared joy. The visit reflects the heart of the Kidz Kindness movement, which encourages children to lead by example at school, at home, and throughout the community.
Joining Jayme during her stop at the Lourie Center will be Southern Soul sensation 803Fresh, adding uplifting energy and community spirit to the celebration. Together, they will help create a fun-loving atmosphere that highlights the true meaning of kindness across generations.
The City of Columbia Mayor Daniel J. Rickenmann also shared a message acknowledging Kidz Kindness Day in Columbia and recognizing Jayme’s commitment to promoting kindness throughout the city.
In addition to her continued community engagement efforts, Jayme has announced that she is currently working on a hip-hop anthem titled “Kidz Kindness Clubhouse,” scheduled for release in the summer of 2026. The anthem will serve as an extension of the Kidz Kindness movement, reinforcing her message that kindness, respect, and good manners are values that children can proudly embrace and celebrate.
