Columbia, SC – In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Latino Community Development (LCD) is proud to recognize the profound contributions of Latinos and Afro-Latinos to the cultural, social, and economic fabric of South Carolina. As part of this commemoration, LCD will host a special ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new office space, further advancing its mission to honor heritage, foster independence, and create equitable communities across the state.
Latinos and Afro-Latinos have long enriched South Carolina with their diverse traditions, talents, and hard work. From entrepreneurship and education to arts and public service, the Latino community has played an essential role in shaping a vibrant and inclusive future. Latino Community Development is proud to empower these communities by providing essential resources, fostering independence, and ensuring access to affordable housing and health equity.
