Learn to Code for Free in South Carolina

Join Richland Library and state leaders, including South Carolina Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt, for SC Codes Midlands Launch from 12 – 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 18 at our Main location (1431 Assembly Street). The program, which is free and open to the public, is geared toward current and prospective students, educators and tutors, programmers and innovators, and business and industry leaders. An SC Codes Information Session is set to follow later that evening to share details about the free training and mentorship. For more information and to register, click here.

SC Codes is a platform connecting South Carolinians to the education and resources that they need to unlock careers in technology. It’s a collaboration, powered by the SC Department of Commerce’s Office of Innovation and Build Carolina.
