Level Up Your Future! Goodwill’s Tech Academy Is Jumpstarting Your Careers in IT!

Additional Information Sessions Set for March 18 in Columbia and Greenville

Upstate & Midlands, SC – Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina (GIUMSC) is excited to announce the continuation of its NEW Tech Academy, an innovative training program designed to equip learners with the expertise and proficiency needed to excel in the ever-evolving field of information technology. The Tech Academy will provide participants with hands-on training, industry-recognized certifications, and the skills necessary to safeguard digital assets and combat cyber threats.

Mandatory information sessions for interested participants will be held on March 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Columbia: 111 Highland Center Drive
  • Greenville: 2550 N. Pleasantburg Drive

Classes begin March 31, 2025, and will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Through Goodwill’s Tech Academy, participants will gain:

  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge and proficiency in IT fundamentals.
  • Empowerment: The tools to safeguard digital landscapes.
  • Opportunity: Access to dynamic career possibilities in the fast-growing tech industry.

The program provides training for key industry certifications, including:

  • CompTIA Fundamentals (ITF+) Certification
  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Office 365 Troubleshooting and Migration Training
  • Help Desk 101 Training

GIUMSC’s Tech Academy is open to individuals eager to gain industry-relevant knowledge and pursue rewarding careers in cybersecurity and IT support. Space is limited, and attendance at either information sessions is required to enroll.
