(Mount Pleasant, SC) — The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its 15th Annual Business and Community Expo, set for Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the Omar Shrine Center. This free, full-day event has become one of the region’s most anticipated opportunities for networking, showcasing local businesses, and connecting with the broader community—and this year brings exciting new additions.
New for 2025: Onsite Job Fair
For job seekers, the Expo will now include a dedicated Job Fair running from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Attendees can meet recruiters and hiring managers from a wide range of sectors including education, emergency services, hospitality, healthcare, and public service. Companies currently scheduled to attend include:
- Charleston County School District
- Charleston County Emergency Dispatch
- Novant Health East Cooper Medical Center
- Raines Hospitality
- Spinx
- South Carolina Ports Authority
- Town of Mount Pleasant
Attendees are encouraged to bring updated résumés and dress for success.
Expo Highlights
The Business & Community Expo will feature a variety of interactive exhibitor booths, product samples, business demonstrations, and food vendors. Local entrepreneurs and major employers alike will be on hand to showcase their products, services, and community impact.
In addition to the job fair, this year’s expo will include:
- Healthcare screenings for attendees
- Live podcast recordings by the Building Business Podcast
- A Happy Hour from 4:00–5:00 p.m. to wind down the day with casual networking opportunities
Admission and parking are free, and all are welcome to attend.
Vendor Setup and VIP Networking
For exhibitors, a VIP Networking Event will be held the day prior, on Wednesday, September 17, from 3:00–5:00 p.m., following vendor setup. This provides a more intimate opportunity to connect with fellow businesses and sponsors ahead of the public event.
