The NAACP South Carolina State Conference will host the 2026 Freedom Fund Celebration on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Brookland Baptist Banquet & Conference Center, 1066 Sunset Blvd, West Columbia, SC 29169. The evening will begin with a special invite reception at 6:00 p.m., followed by the program at 7:00 p.m.
Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett will serve as the keynote speaker during this dynamic event.
The Honorable Ms. Crockett has dedicated her life to fighting for human rights, being the voice for the voiceless, and brings a wealth of knowledge and rejuvenation to our long-standing mission of advocacy, equity, and justice for civil rights.
The theme for the 2026 Freedom Fund Celebration is “Claim Your Power,” recognizing the leadership, members, and community partners whose service and commitment have helped the South Carolina NAACP State Conference advance civic engagement, healthcare, education, and many more efforts throughout the state.
“This celebration is more than an event — it is a call to continue the work of justice, equity, and opportunity for all people,” said NAACP South Carolina State Conference President Brenda Murphy.
