(Cayce, SC) — Level Up Healthcare Academy will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony and business showcase at the new location at 1100 12th Street, Cayce, SC on June 18, 2024, at 10am. All members of the community, including those looking for a new career, members of the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce and members of the media, are invited to share in the celebration and learn about launching a career as a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA).

Level Up Healthcare Academy, LLC was established to educate, train, and certify men and women as care givers for a growing aging population. They will receive 60 hours of didactic and skills as all as 40 hours of clinical experience. The caregivers will be launched into the healthcare field in a 6-week period, once they pass a state board exam. Level Up will provide test prep prior to the exam. This influx of new providers will help local healthcare facilities to fill a great void of certified nurse’s aides.

Dr. Colette Townsend-Chambers is the owner of Level Up Healthcare Academy, LLC truly understands the importance of higher education and its impact on nursing. In fact, her motto is “Level Up your education and level up your life”. In essence getting more education can provide access to better jobs, healthcare housing, etc. She has over 28 years of nursing experience, starting off as a CNA and has since achieved 6 degrees culminating in a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and the coveted Certified Health Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification, being one of only approximately 3,000 worldwide. Her career in nursing was inspired by her mother, a CNA for over 20 years, and she has passed the love of the medical field on to her daughter, who became a trained CNA in February 2024. Earning a CNA certification is like a golden ticket and opens the doors for all who enter therein.
