NOMA Columbia—North Main’s growing business district known for its local restaurants, small businesses, and community events—is gearing up for its 6th Annual Light Up NOMA and Cookie Crawl on Saturday, December 13, from 11 AM to 5 PM.
Light Up NOMA is a free, district-wide holiday celebration featuring open-door shopping, product samplings, and festive activities throughout the North Main corridor. At 6 PM, the community will gather for the official NOMA Tree Lighting.
Alongside the district festivities, the NOMA Cookie Crawl offers participants a chance to visit a dozen locations to pick up freshly baked holiday cookies. Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 on the day of the event, if any remain. Only 250 tickets are available, and the event sold out early in its inaugural year. Cookie bag/tin pickup runs from 11 AM to 4 PM at Carolina Kernels, 2720 Main Street. The crawl ends at 5 PM.
Attendees should be aware that cookies may contain or be prepared in facilities with common allergens, including milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soybeans, and corn.
NOMA invites residents and visitors to enjoy a day of holiday treats, shopping, and neighborhood cheer in the heart of North Columbia.
