The Wiley Kennedy Foundation, in partnership with the United Alliance of North Columbia Neighborhoods, will host the North Columbia Workforce Expo 2026 on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Wiley Kennedy Family Life Center, located at 1037 Eastman Street in Columbia.
The event is designed to connect residents with local employers, hiring managers, workforce development resources, and career opportunities throughout the Midlands.
Individuals seeking meaningful employment are encouraged to attend, network with employers, ask questions, and learn more about available jobs and career pathways. The expo will provide an opportunity for community members to make direct connections that could help open doors to new employment and professional growth.
Representatives are expected from several major local employers and agencies, including Scout Motors, the City of Columbia, the Columbia Police Department, Richland County, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Richland School District One, SC Works, and more.
The event is being presented by the Wiley Kennedy Foundation and the United Alliance of North Columbia Neighborhoods, with Gwendolyn Singletary, Executive Director, helping lead the effort to bring workforce opportunities directly to the North Columbia community.
