NP Strategy Grows Team, Expanding 3 Offices

New hires to support growing client base in North & South Carolina

(South Carolina) – NP Strategy (NPS+), a strategic communications firm providing crisis, media and public relations assistance out of eight offices in the Carolinas announces the addition of four new hires to meet the company’s growing client base.  

“These four professionals bring a diversity of background and skillset to our NP Strategy team,” said Heather Matthews, CEO.  “We are fortunate to emerge from the pandemic stronger than ever.” 

Beverly Bowers’ South Carolina roots and state government background offer a valuable perspective to the NPS+ team. Bowers is a Wofford graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Communications, and she combines her love of storytelling with problem solving. As a Project Manager for NPS+, she utilizes her experience in strategic planning and marketing, and complements NPS+ colleagues with strong writing and public relations skills.  

Celesia Patterson comes to NPS+ from the law firm of Gallivan, White & Boyd where she led marketing and business development efforts for the regional law firm. Her creative expertise spans across agency and corporate settings with a focus on proactive planning and organization. Patterson’s role as Strategic Marketing Manager in our Greenville, SC office involves implementing and managing business development, marketing initiatives and client relations. 

Valentina Rojas completed NP Strategy’s internship program and continues full-time at NPS+ as a Communications Coordinator. A Native of Colombia, Rojas graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies, Public Relations/Image Management. Before joining NPS+, she used her international experience in a managed healthcare organization, where she took on various content creation tasks and assisted with outreach to the Hispanic community. Rojas joins the team in Charlotte, NC. 

Imani Frasier’s journey as a communications professional began with an internship at the United States House of Representatives. Walker began working as an intern with NP Strategy during the final semester of her graduate program where she earned a Master of Mass Communication from the University of South Carolina. She continues to work with clients as a Communications Coordinator, assisting with a wide range of projects from our Charlotte, NC office.
