PALSS Commemorates 35 Years of Service with a Virtual Celebration

(Columbia, SC) – This year, Palmetto AIDS Life Support Services (PALSS) commemorates 35 years of dedicated service to the community. Part of the yearlong celebration includes inviting the public to a virtual open house ceremony and tour of their expanded facilities at 2638 Two Notch Road in Columbia.  Since 1985, PALSS has helped South Carolinians fight the war against HIV and AIDS.  

The Honorable Stephen K. Benjamin, Mayor of Columbia, South Carolina, is the honorary chair of the week-long celebration, which includes an online auction, and a fun-filled broadcast with interviews and entertainment. Join the celebration by following the schedule below:  

  • Sunday, June 20, 2021 – the virtual auction opens at noon and includes the opportunity to bid on a Stay-and-Play Luxury Weekend Getaway in Hilton Head sponsored by University Dental. 
  • Monday, June 21, 2021 – The virtual anniversary program airs, hosted by Tre’ Tailor. 
  • Monday, June 28, 2021 – The virtual auction closes at 7PM. 
  • Tuesday, June 29, 2021 – The virtual auction winners are announced.  

Palmetto AIDS Life Support Services provides health, education, and social services to persons living with and communities affected by HIV and AIDS.
