COLUMBIA, S.C. –Pathways to Possibilities, an effort to provide previously incarcerated individuals with a fresh start, will be held on Thursday, July 31 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Eau Claire High School, 4800 Monticello Road. Attendees with criminal records will receive information about free expungement services, pardon applications, and job opportunities in the Midlands area.
This event is free and open to the public, with an emphasis on individuals who may be eligible for record expungement or seeking a pardon.

Many people are unaware of the potential voting redemption and firearm rights restoration that comes with certain pardon and expungement opportunities. This event is designed to answer those questions and provide a step in the direction of clarity. Whether you’re looking for legal advice, expungement assistance, or a path toward a pardon, this event will have vital resources to help individuals start anew.”

The fair will feature a range of services, including:

· Pardon application assistance
· Legal guidance about record clearing and the pardon process
· Community resources for job placement, housing, and more
Pathways to Possibilities aims to help individuals overcome barriers to employment, education, and housing by providing access to critical resources that can change the trajectory of their lives.We want Richland County residents to know that opportunities for redemption are available. There are numerous agencies that are dedicated to helping residents to be their best selves, and those agencies will be represented on July 31st. If you have made a mistake in your youth, we want you to know that it is possible to have a clean slate.
