Power Mondays Peace Talks

The Midlands Mediation Center is hosting a monthly series, free to the community,  at Richland and Lexington Library.  The sessions are designed to help individuals participate in peaceful conversations through learn effective communication skills

All sessions are on Mondays, from 6:00 pm -7:30 pm. The series taking place at Richland Library North Main, 5306 N Main Street, Columbia, SC, 29203, are on May 6, June 3, July 1, August 5, and September 9. The series taking place at Cayce-West Columbia Branch Library, 1500 Augusta Road, West Columbia, SC, 29169, are on May 20, June 17, July 22, August 19, and September 16.

POWER MONDAYS Peace Talks are free sessions open to the public where participants explore and practice communication techniques to strengthen dialogues at home, work and/or school. Each month a facilitator leads participants in a short learning segment demonstrating a communication tool then participants engage in an interactive practice demonstrating the learned technique.

This project is supported by a Beyond The Table grant from Central Carolina Community Foundation and was inspired by the “On The Table” initiative.

Sharon Sanders
