(Columbia, SC) — What happens when food, culture, wellness and economic empowerment come together under one roof?
On September 26, 2026, Rawtopian Bliss founder SaaShalom “Chef Saa” I.M. Bey will bring that vision to Allen University’s Chappelle Auditorium with Rebirth of Soul, a community celebration and fundraising event designed to do more than entertain.
The evening will feature live entertainment, music, poetry, an African dance troupe, Allen University’s Mass Choir, local and celebrity talent, a vendors mall and a VIP experience.
But behind the performances is a larger mission.
Rebirth of Soul will help raise resources for the development of the Rawtopian Bliss Production Kitchen & Training Center, a planned community resource designed to expand plant-based food production while creating opportunities in wellness education, entrepreneurship and workforce development.
It is an ambitious vision built around three interconnected ideas: healthier people, stronger businesses and empowered communities.

More Than One Night
Chef Saa describes Rebirth of Soul as the beginning of the next chapter for Rawtopian Bliss.
Funds generated through the campaign are intended to support the event as well as development of the Production Kitchen & Training Center. The proposed center would allow Rawtopian Bliss to increase production and distribution of its plant-based foods and wellness products while offering cooking demonstrations, educational programs and training opportunities for aspiring plant-based culinary entrepreneurs.
The plan also calls for creating employment and workforce-development opportunities, supporting collaboration with local businesses and increasing community access to healthier food choices.
That makes Rebirth of Soul more than another date on Columbia’s entertainment calendar.
It is an attempt to connect culture with community development and wellness with economic opportunity.
Reclaiming Health Through Community
For more than three decades, Chef Saa has promoted natural and holistic living through wellness education, plant-based food preparation, workshops and community programming.
Her journey eventually led to the creation of Rawtopian Bliss Gourmet Vegan Deli in Columbia, which operated from 2015 through 2021.
Now, Rebirth of Soul is designed to help transform that history into something permanent.
The vision for the Production Kitchen & Training Center includes expanded food production, wellness education, entrepreneurial training, employment opportunities and partnerships with businesses, schools, nonprofit organizations, healthcare professionals, artists and community leaders.
It is a reminder that community wellness is not simply about what is placed on the dinner table. It can also be about who owns the kitchen, who receives the training, who gets the opportunity and whether resources remain connected to the community.
Culture Meets Wellness
Rebirth of Soul is also designed as a family-friendly cultural experience.
Organizers say the event will bring together performers, poets, vendors, wellness advocates, entrepreneurs, businesses and community leaders in an environment centered on uplifting entertainment and conversations about healthier living.
A multi-platform live broadcast is also planned, with potential distribution through YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and other digital platforms. Broadcast programming may include performances, interviews, sponsor and vendor spotlights, fundraising updates and coverage of the Production Kitchen campaign.
The goal is to allow the experience—and its message—to extend beyond the walls of Chappelle Auditorium.

Building Something That Lasts
Perhaps the most important word in the name Rebirth of Soul is rebirth.
The event is built around the idea that communities can reclaim health, culture, economic opportunity and connection rather than simply accept the conditions placed before them.
And that makes September 26 about more than entertainment.
It is about what comes afterward.
Will another entrepreneur receive training? Will another family discover healthier food choices? Will another local business find an opportunity to grow? Will an investment made during one evening become infrastructure that serves the community for years?
That is the larger vision behind Rebirth of Soul.
Businesses, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, educational institutions and community partners interested in supporting the initiative can explore sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
