Rev. Chaunte McClure named pastor of Pine Grove AME Church

The Rev. Chaunté McClure is the newly-appointed pastor of Pine Grove A.M.E. Church in Peak. Bishop Samuel Lawrence Green, Sr., presiding prelate of the 7th Episcopal District, made appointments during the virtual Columbia District Annual Conference on Saturday, September 12, 2020. This is Rev. McClure’s second pastoral appointment. She previously served as the pastor of Mill Creek A.M.E. Church in Columbia.

McClure said, “I’m excited about the journey and pray that I will continue serving well. I’m grateful to God, the bishop and my presiding elder for the opportunity serve.”

Due to the pandemic, worship service is held via Facebook Live each Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
